Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account details: your email address, and your name and profile picture if you sign in with Google.
• Test activity: the answers you choose, time spent on each question, questions you mark for review, your scores and reports, and the practice tests you take.
• Profile choices: the name you set on your account.
• Technical data: basic logs such as IP address, browser type and error reports, kept to keep the service secure and working.
• Payments (once paid plans start): what you bought and when. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store them.

Why we use it

• To sign you in and keep your results on your account across devices.
• To score your tests, build your reports, Improvement Packs and pattern insights, and avoid repeating questions you have seen.
• To show where you stand among other students. Rankings use scores only; other students never see your name or email.
• To send sign-in codes and, if you ask for them, updates about your account.
• To keep the service secure, prevent misuse and fix problems.

We process your data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you create an account. You can withdraw it at any time by deleting your account.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run RankVyuh. They process data only on our instructions:

• Supabase: database and sign-in, hosted in Mumbai, India.
• Cloudflare: website hosting and security.
• Resend: delivery of sign-in emails.
• Google: only if you choose “Continue with Google”.
• A payment gateway (such as Razorpay) once paid plans start.

Some providers may process data outside India, as permitted by law. We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and test history while your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, results and practice history straight away. Backups are overwritten within 30 days. We keep payment records for as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

• See the data we hold about you, and correct it.
• Delete your account and data at any time from My account.
• Withdraw consent, which closes your account.
• Nominate someone to exercise these rights for you.
• Raise a grievance with us, and with the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied.

Age

RankVyuh is meant for people aged 18 and above. If you are under 18, please use it only with a parent or guardian’s consent.

Cookies and storage

We use cookies only to keep you signed in. Your test in progress is saved in your browser so you can resume after a dropped connection. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Security

Data travels over encrypted connections. Access to your data is restricted by database rules, so a student can read only their own results. Answer keys and scores are handled only on our servers.

Contact and grievances

For any question, request or complaint about your data, write to support@rankvyuh.com with the subject “Privacy”. We reply within 7 days and resolve grievances within 30 days.
