Questions students ask
How many questions are there in SSC CGL Tier 1?
100 multiple-choice questions in four sections of 25 each, for 200 marks, to be answered in 60 minutes.
Is there negative marking in SSC CGL Tier 1?
Yes. Each correct answer gets 2 marks and each wrong answer loses 0.5 marks. Unanswered questions get zero.
Are the RankVyuh SSC CGL mocks free?
Yes. During the beta all five full mocks, topic practice and Improvement Packs are free. Full Mock 1 will stay free after launch.
Can I take the mock on my phone?
Yes. The test works on phones and laptops, saves your answers on the device, and resumes if your connection drops.
Does a good mock score mean I will clear the cutoff?
No. A mock shows where you stand against past cutoffs. The real paper is different and real scores are normalised across shifts.
